What is RSS? Back

What is RSS?

RSS is an easy way for you to keep up-to-the-minute with all our latest news and press releases.

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, it uses a standard way of presenting news headlines, from all kinds of web sites known as RSS feeds. Using specialised web browsers called RSS Readers, you can choose any news site which provides RSS feeds to add news updates to your very own online Newspaper.

So if you are interested in sport, financial news, current events, gardening you can subscribe to an RSS feed from each and build your own personalised newspaper.

Once you have set up your news reader, you can click on the RSS button and as soon as a new news story is added to the Vision in Print web site, it will update your news reader, when you click on the news headline you will automatically open the full Vision in Print story.

Modern browsers such as Internet Explorer 7 have RSS built in, you can also get a news reader from one of the links below. Please note that we are not responsible for the support of your news reader software.

You can then return to our news index page and click on the orange RSS button to subscribe.
